Does natural hair growth depend on just genes?

I've tried all I think I can and I think my genes won't just let me have growth like others....

I  hear many people say these words and it burns me inside.
Even when I know I've got the genes if I don't take care of my hair properly..it won't grow the usual way.. because longer hair is prone to dryness and damage and eventually leads to breakage and then I'm left with nothing my genes wouldn't even reflect anymore...

If  you were blessed with slow hair growth gene.. cherish it because it takes little drops of water to make a mighty ocean...in a year you have maybe 4 inches and in 3 years that's 12 and in 5 years that's 20!..but you should know it doesn't come just like that... building a strong routine that best fits your hair type and porosity would ensure that you retain length like you supposed to...

If you've got fast hair growth genes ...hurray!! but you need to be careful ....you might have split ends faster than those with slower genes and the funny thing is until you look closely at your hair strands and then  ..you might not even know you have.....
Don't feel too confident or disappointed because you think you have the genes or you think you don't.....
Consistency to your routine, and trust would lead you all the way to your dream hair goal.

Have you tried every treatment you can and it feels like your hair is not even responding to it?... ask an expert or find out the real cause yourself...what products do I use?, how consistent is my hair routine, how do I treat my hair....how sensitive is my hair..do I do the right protective styles?,do I consider my hair porosity?,does my hair really need this or that?....sit down and ask yourself these questions ,make your resolutions where necessary and trust the process...
